Punto de Vista International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra Feb 15 - 23, 2008
PUNTO DE VISTA, the Documentary Film Festival of Navarra calls for a competition, open to participation by documentaries of any nationality made in after 1 August 2006. The deadline for sending films is next 30 September.
Fiction, institutional or publicity films will not be admitted, nor reports or works of a journalistic nature.

PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF SHORT FILMS Aug. 23 – 29, 2007
The 13th annual edition of the event will present more than 350 new short films from 40 countries, with 300 young filmmakers attending the event in the week-long celebration of the short film art form, which encompasses special events and showcases, and a program of seminars, master classes and panel discussions featuring industry professionals and experts in the short film field. 20 cash awards will be presented in eight competitive categories - over $70,000 in cash, film stock and production services will be awarded!

The Festival is sponsored by the Regional Government of Madeira to promote the films and various events around them, as well as to promote Madeira Islands and the capital city of Funchal.
