Student Etudes Competition line-up

Student Etudes Competition presents etudes selected from among
360 films submissions sent by film schools and students from all over
the world. The competitive films will be judged by an international Jury
comprised of the recognized personages of film industry:

• Joel Schumacher (Jury Chairman) - director, writer, producer, Flatliners, Falling Down, The Client, Batman Forever, The Number 23
• Andrzej Bartkowiak - cinematographer, director, The Verdict, Falling Down, Leathal Weapon, Romeo Must Die
• Lilly Kilvert - production designer, Legends of the Fall, The Last Samurai, The Siege
• Dawid Kwok - Director of programming for the Tribeca Film Festival. Creator of Tribeca All Access
• Chris Lebenzon - editor, Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop 2, Batman Returns, Pearl Harbor, Alice in Wonderland
• Jan Macola - Barrandov Studios, Head of Co-Productions and Development
• Oliver Stapleton - cinematographer, The Cider House Rules, Casanova, Accidental Hero, The Proposal

The screenings of student etudes will be held on Wednesday, December 1st in the Festival Center in Opera Nova. The director of photography of the best etude will be awarded with Laszlo Kovacs Student Award-Golden Tadpole. The remaining awards are Silver and Bronze Tadpole.
Moreover, The Polish Filmmakers Association will grant the award of 5.000 PLN to the best cinematographer.
