His is the pioneer of "gonzo" films in France. After Actor X, a sort of film-diary, somewhere between porn and feature film, he piqued the curiosity of cinephiles and is regularly scheduled at the French Cinematheque. His scandalous autobiographical masterpiece, HPG son vit son œuvre, was his first feature film released in 2006. In 2011, he confided thousands of hours of footage of his pornographic films to Raphael Siboni. The resulting Il n’y a pas de rapport sexuel is a radical work on the fringes of autofiction. In 2012, his book, Les Mouvements du bassin, dug back into autobiographical material, questioning maternal and paternal roles.
