Emma Thompson s'engage contre le SIDAEmma Thompson (oscar de la meilleure actrice en 1993 pour Retour à Howards End et du meilleur scénario en 1995 pour Raison et Sentiments) a décidé d’interrompre sa carrière d’actrice pendant un an. Cette année sabbatique servira une bonne cause, puisque l’actrice britannique a l’intention de voyager dans toute l’Afrique avec une association caritative pour éveiller l’attention sur les ravages du SIDA sur ce continent. Elle espère que sa célébrité aidera la cause. Emma Thompson commencera le voyage avec sa famille, son ami Greg Wise et leur petite fille, avant la fin de l’année. |
