No man's land in is a dangerous place to be, but for George and Fredric, its the perfect location for a game of chess. Fredric and George have always been great friends. Two friends who frequently enjoy a good game of chess. However, after a long winning streak Fredric is suddenly challenged. Has Fredric met his match? Will he be able to keep his reputation as the champion, or will George claim his title and his dignity?

The short film narrates the story of a pond died on account of negligence and encroachment by people in the name of development, ignoring the utility of sustenance of natural resources.
Without any spoken word and in the form of a monologue, it portrays the journey in visual terms from the lively days of the pond, the decadence and its ultimate death caused by a huge construction developed within its proximity.

Peter and his parents arrive on their holiday hut in the idyllic Tyrolean Alps. Although seemingly a happy family, not everything is well under the picture-perfect surface. Peter's parents are unusually quiet, father seems tense and mother is becoming more and more distant. Something is wrong, yet Peter isn't let in on the cause. One fine day his father sets out for an unexpected hike in the mountains, taking the boy with him. As they walk towards the snowy peak of the mountain, the truth that has been carefully kept from Peter is slowly revealed...
