The title of this documentary is Monsantime, and the setting is an old village called Monsanto on top of the mountain with 90 inhabitants, 90% of them are old. It's a quiet and peaceful place where each day is a cycle of the same routine and habits, almost like a clock work.
Monsantime deals with the oldest village in Portugal and its significance nowadays.
Director: Deborah Burns.
A short film about Hannah’s journey to feed an illusive monster lurking in the woods. Set in the future, her village lives in harmony with nature. The monster is their only problem. Every time he is hungry he roars, and the villagers hold a lottery. The unlucky winner must sneak into the forest to drop off food and then get out quickly. As a result no one has ever seen the monster. Hannah is a curious teen who inadvertently breaks rules. As a consequence her journey will end much differently than her predecessors.

Two completely traditional couples of lovers on a warm summer night make a kind of coming-out in front of each other, telling about their hidden impulses from a previous life.
The impetus to making the film was the book of the same name by the Russian religious philosopher Vasily Rozanov, who died 100 years ago. His treatise was devoted to the study of sexuality and its denial in Christianity.
The film was made in the style of experimental films of the 1920s with a non-linear narrative full of strange surrealistic images. He is black and white and devoid of dialogue. The image is based on the music of Alexander Scriabin "The Poem of Ecstasy", composed and performed also at the beginning of the 20th century.
Director: Lewis Beck.
Morris Bates is a Canadian Aboriginal artist hailing from the Shuswap Indian Reservation in British Columbia, Canada. From these humble beginnings, Bates rose to become one of the most successful Elvis impersonators in the entertainment industry, headlining in Las Vegas for all of 10 years.
Following this phase of his career, Bates returned to Canada and took a job as Aboriginal Liaison with the Vancouver Police Deparment. One of the programs he ran in this position was "Reality Check" where he would take at-risk Aboriginal youth and give them a tour of the mean streets of Vancouver's downtown east side, showing them where they might end up if they weren't careful with their lives.
In all, a remarkable story!
Director: Eric ATLAN.
MORTEM is a metaphysical THRILLER. The story of JENA, a young woman who defies her own death during all one night.
Director: Predrag Velinovic.
Ivan teaches history in a Belgrade high school. In his class, Ivan is provoked by a student and ends up slapping him on the face.
In Serbia, in the heat of transitional changes, Ivan’s presence in school is no longer welcomed. He finds a temporary job opportunity in a war-scarred mountain village in Bosnia.
On his way there, he meets Yasmina, a young Muslim woman, back from Germany to her homeland after the war and after being invited by an old friend – Hazim - who now runs a motel.
A lone kiss in a stormy night, in a village still lying in ruins, will bring Yasmina and Ivan closer together in a joint escape from reality and to a ride on a dusty bus, where neither one of them wants to sit next to the window.
Director: Philippe Blasband.
Director: Navid Nikkhah Azad.
