Who decides what is normal? A unique story of love, friendship and a view of the world from different perspectives, WAITING FOR FOREVER explores the connections people make in the face of life's changes. Best friends while they were growing up, Emma (Rachel Bilson) and Will (Tom Sturridge) lost touch a long time ago—as far as she knows. To Will, Emma never stopped being the most important person in his life. Believing them to be forever linked, he goes wherever she goes. Will doesn’t have a home, a car, or a “real” job. He survives on his talent as a juggler and entertainer—talents honed through years of showing off for Emma. When her father gets sick, Emma returns to their hometown, trying to leave behind her complicated love life and failing career as a TV actress. As its characters face love, death and their own preconceptions, WAITING FOR FOREVER questions the realities of life.

Freediving & swimming with Tiger Sharks in South African waters with Walter Bernardis, an expert diver on these animals. Throughout the scuba dives he shows that Tiger Sharks are not anywhere near as aggressive or dangerous as we think and that we can dive with them safely, but also investigates the Tigers' behaviour more thoroughly. Such as their varying behaviours around the bait, how they react to electromagnetive waves, or how they even see us. We're left with a deepened affection for them as well as a deepend sense of safety.
But in the 2nd half, the action switches to the beach nets that kill the Sharks to protect the bathers. We learn of their painful death at the hands of the Natal Sharks Board, and their actual dissections in front of an audience by this organisation. We learn how much damage is done to the Tiger Shark population in SA but also other Sharks and marine species too.
Overall the film's journey takes us on an arc where our fears of Tiger Sharks are dispelled and replaced instead with a fondness but also sympathy for their own danger and survival.

Wariazone explores the notion of transgender in Indonesia and relations between gender identity and freedom. It raises questions about the politicization of morality and religion after the reform era. The male-to-female transsexuals who are known by the artificial word ‘waria’ (wanita, woman + pria, man) are a well-known phenomenon in the cultural mosaic of the country with the world’s largest Moslem community. The warias are often described in the local context as a combination of masculinity and femininity, a third sex, or a woman’s soul born in the body of a man.
Traditionally, variations in gender identity have been considered to be holy in many Indonesian cultures, but today the warias have been relegated to an outlaw zone on the outskirts of society. The consequences of the stigmatization based on the rigidity of social constructions (morals, religions, hetero-normativity, etc.) include non-recognition of their gender identity, discrimination, limited work opportunities, the sex industry, and HIV/AIDS.
Wariazone not only situates itself within the context of gender and sexuality, but also points out how the expression of gender identity is ruled by ideology: the ‘truth’ is related to the power.
Among many activists (Yulianus Rettoblaut, Merlyn Sopjan, Lenny Sugiharto, Ienez Angela, Shinta Ratri, to name a few) and sex workers, Dédé Oetomo (a leading activist for LGBT rights), Julia Suryakusuma (Indonesia's own feminist fatale) and Didik Nini Thowok (legendary cross-dressing performance artist) also appear in the film. Visits are made to several waria gathering places in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Malang and Surabaya, and to the world's only Koranic school for transgendered people.

There are no official statistics but it’s estimated that in Bangladesh each year about 200 women are attacked with acid.
A woman can be assaulted for refusing a proposal, for unmet demands for dowry, even for being outspoken. She can simply be accused of being wayword and stubborn and therefore men can punish her in the most terrible way.
Nahar was a 15 years old student when a boy who had proposed her and she had refused, threw acid and disfigured her.
After a number of reconstructive surgeries and years of psychological counseling she found a way out of isolation and got the strength to start her life anew.
Today she travels across Bangladesh home after home, village after village to help those who faced the same tragedy.
