Born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, Amber always dreamed of stardom. She even imagined one day her hometown would erect a statue of her and rename itself "Amberdeen." She trained in music and dance from the age of four and went onto attain a degree in Contemporary Dance at the Academy of the Arts, QUT, Australia. Later, she completed a BA Honours in Theatre Dance (Musical Theatre) at London Studio Centre, Middlesex University. As part of the course they were required to make an 'art dance' video. It was then Amber dove into editing. While living in London she starred in several independent films including "Cross-Eyed Waltz" which launched her career as a producer (she forfeited her paycheck to help out the director). After returning to the USA she produced, co-wrote, and starred in the short fan film "Catwoman: Resolution," marking the first production for her newly formed production company ALM Talkies. Shortly afterwards she was invited to the MIDEM music market in Cannes, France. It was there he saw first-hand how low producers will go to fulfill their own ambitions. Armed with her unique point-of-view footage, "Dirty Step Upstage" marks her feature film directorial debut. It premiered in New York at the opening night of the Chashama Film Festival, where she also performed as Girl In The Red Dress, a musical character in the film. She went on to receive the Victor Award for Best Actress.
