Baptiste Rouveure made his first short films as early as age 15. He held a
Masters in Cinema at Paris I – Sorbonne, however it was through several
audiovisual experiences (fiction, video, photo, advertisement, documentary…)
that he learned on the job and that he perfected his knowledge and
techniques.
Through narrative progressions which are converging toward a questioning
of reality, Baptiste wonders about our relationship with our environment. The
clear aesthetic of all his films supports a real rapprochement with the
fantastic.
Today after about thirty selections for Festival in which he had seven prizes,
Baptiste Rouveure carries on his writing of fiction and continues to share his
passion through school interventions and working groups.
