Martin Scorsese Masterclass in Cannes

danielmerei

Dan Noah was born in Melbourne, Australia and is the co-founder of Noah's Art Pictures. He works in permanent collaboration with his brother Bramwell Noah. Noah's cinematic style balances homage with iconoclasm in seeking to tell stories that are relevant but cinematically daring. His flair and passion for the medium draws on the influence of filmmakers as diverse as European masters and modern American cinema myth-makers. At at the same time there is always a hint of the tradition of irreverence established by such acclaimed fellow countrymen as Peter Weir, Alex Proyas and Russel Mulcahy. Noah has co-directed two short films and one feature with his brother: the provocative human rights drama 'Massacre Of The Innocents' marked their debut as powerful new voice in world cinema and was featured in the "Films With a Conscience" category at The Golden Lion Film Festival.
