Trenton is situated on the Delaware River halfway between New York and Philadelphia. The Trenton Film Festival is a showcase for independent, foreign and up-and-coming filmmakers. 3 million people live within 1/2 hour of the festival.
Trenton Film Festival screens new, cutting-edge film of various genres from around the world, offering filmmakers the opportunity to interact with audiences and connect with other filmmakers at various stages in their career. Located half-way between New York City and Philadelphia, Trenton is a small city with easy access to one of the largest film markets in the world, yet intimate enough to give new film exposure that might be hard to achieve in a larger place or festival.
Trenton Film Society returns in 2014 after a 5 year hiatus, during which time the Trenton Film Society developed several other events including the Trenton International Festival--coming up 4/4-4/6/14. We are particularly excited to return to our roots to produce what was our signature event, the Trenton Film Festival.
