The Egyptian Film Critics Association (EFC) is proud to announce the first edition of the Cairo International Film Critics' Week that will take place between 10-17th November 2014
The Cairo International Film Criticsʼ Week is an independent section of the
Cairo Film Festival exclusively dedicated to first and second time directorʼs full-length films, With its special eye for discovering the best new talents in world cinema.
The films selected in competition in the 1st Cairo International Film Criticsʼ Week
will be eligible for the Shadi Abd El Salam prize for best film (50.000 LE for the director), and the Fathy Farag Prize for the best artistic contribution (25.000 LE)
