MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The British Independent Film Festival is an event designed to showcase independent films from around the world with a focus on British talent.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The British Independent Film Festival is a festival run by independent filmmakers for independent filmmakers. It is organised by the Film Festival Guild and therefore has links to festivals around the world.
The Festival provides opportunities for independent filmmakers to have their films screened at great red carpet-style venues to a passionate audience of film professionals, film students, journalists and the general public.
The Festival aims to promote and support independent filmmaking .
The winning films will be screened to the public
There are a number of awards up for grabs at the Festival, including the prestigious British Lion Award for Achievement in Film, which is given to any member of cast or crew on a film who has shown excellent independent filmmaking quality of work and spirit.

This festival really is one your want to enter. Last year one of your winners went on to be nominated for an Oscar and this year one pre selected film is tipped for a Welsh Bafta.
