About
Sunderland Shorts was created in collaboration with DC shorts, and aims to showcase some of the best short films on a local, national, and international basis.
After a successful launch event in January 2015, submissions will open on 2nd February 2015. Submissions from all genres are welcome - please see www.sunderlandshorts.co.uk/2015 for further details.
Various awards, including Director's Choice and Critic's Choice will be selected from the programmed films. Selected films from the inaugural 2015 Sunderland Shorts Film Festival will then be shown at the next DC Shorts Film Festival later in the year, thereby opening up exposure to international markets and the rest of the USA.
