Welcome to the festival where the end of the movie is only the beginning
The world’s first and largest mental health film festival and public discussion forum, Rendezvous with Madness, returns to Toronto from November 4-12, 2016 for its 24th edition!
We look forward to receiving your submission. There is no fee to submit your film and we pay screening fees for projects presented. Rendezvous presents films in all shapes, sizes, genres and forms including shorts, features, animation, fiction, documentary, experimental and everything in between!
At Rendezvous, the opportunity for dialogue generated by the films is as important as the films themselves. Each screening is followed by an audience-focused discussion with filmmakers, mental health professionals and people with lived mental health experiences. Rendezvous presents powerful, entertaining and compelling images of mental health from around the world. These diverse viewpoints capture the global discussion surrounding mental health and encourage the breakdown of stigma across many cultures.
