OIFF TURIN CINEFEST 2017 is at its 4th edition with some important news, the live screening reserved for the winners in the beautiful city of Turin.
After the official selection all the finalists will compete in the contest for 12 days in January 2017 (January 20th-31st). Members of a competent jury are in charge to nominate the best short and the best feature. The winning films will be played in a theatre in Turin next winter and they will also get a prize of 500 dollars.
The festival aims to be a showcase for all those wishing to approach the profession of filmmaker.
Nowadays, thanks to the advent of digital technologies, everyone has the opportunity to get involved. Everyone has the opportunity to realize a movie with a significantly reduced cost compared to the exorbitant figures that required the film, but there are few survivors who do not end up in oblivion.
Therefore, OIFF is meant to be like a window opened to the world of independent film.
Our mission is giving visibility to the different film industries around the world.
OIFF is an Independent Festival that aims to give space to any form of language.
There are no limits except the limits everyone will put to himself!
Awards & Prizes
All the awards for the winners of OIFF TURIN CINEFEST 2017 (Winter Edition) will be announced after the closure of online submissions.
Rules & Terms
Before listing your movie to OIFF TURIN CINEFEST 2017 please read carefully and understand the rules.
Projects submitted must be the original work of the participant, not ended before January 1, 2010.
It is possible to submit more than one project, but each project requires the application fee.
Projects must be submitted online using the dedicated platform: Filmfreeway.
ADMITTED CATEGORIES:
-Short films: for films lasting between 1 and 59 minutes
-Feature films: for films lasting at least 60 minutes
Expiration dates and required fee to submit a movie are:
FEATURE CATEGORY: August, September, October, November, December, January
SHORT FILM CATEGORY: August, September, October, November, December, January
EVENT will take place from 20 to 31 January 2017, on our online platform http://www.oiff-cinefest.com
Rates for submission are not refundable.
To enter the official selection of OIFF TURIN CINEFEST 2017, movies will be subjected to the vision of an internal jury of the festival.
The selected movies will access the official competition. There will be prizes for the best short film and best feature film (cash prizes will be announced once that registrations will be closed).
The winners of each categories will be chosen by a jury of internal 6\8 members, who will view films during the festival, and will vote for: subject, script, direction, photography, acting. The votes will be visible on the official website, in real time.

-Best Director;
-Best Actor;
-Best Actress;
-Best Soundtrack;
All decisions regarding the winners are final and irrefutable.
OIFF TURIN CINEFEST 2017 reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the expiration date of registration.
All films in any different language must necessarily be subtitled, in English. An
exception will be admitted for films in Italian or Spanish, which don't need to be
subtitled.
By submitting the film to OIFF TURIN CINEFEST 2017 you confirm to be in all respects the owners the rights of the film.
GENERAL AGREEMENT OF PARTICIPATION IN OIFF TORINO CINEFEST 2017
I have read and accept the terms and regulations of OIFF. I authorize OIFF
to exhibit my film online to compete for the award for best short film, best feature film, or best trailer. I declare that I have all the rights necessary for the presentation of this film in OIFF and that all rights and permissions have been obtained. This film is not subject to any dispute, or threatened by any litigation. By accepting these conditions, I transfer to OIFF the right to use extracts of the film, images, and trailers, for purposes of advertising and marketing of the film using social networks and the website http://www.oiff-cinefest.com , and other non-commercial purposes related to the promotion of the festival. I hereby agree to indemnify OIFF, in the event that such rights have not been properly transferred.
