«Molodist» is a specialized festival aimed to support the cinema of young directors. Festival’s competition program consists of sections of student films, first short films (fiction film, animation, documentary) and first full-feature films. We give a dynamic of development of the most important trends of a young cinema here and all over the world. In 2010 almost 350 films (70 positions in competition) have been presented from more than 40 countries. In 1993 FIAPF officially registered «Molodist» as a specialized International Festival, which activity completely corresponds with international standards. According to Screen, Variety and Hollywood Reporter «Molodist» is one of most important film events in Eastern Europe.
