II. Reward System
Film submissions will be accepted widely. Seventy
films will be selected for screening and receive the Screening Certificate for Jiayuguan International Short Film Festival
issued by the organizing committee.
Twenty-three “Recommended Films” will then be
selected from the 70 films for screening in the main screening area. Screening Certificate for “Recommended Film”
of China will be awarded at the Jiayuguan International Short Film Festival.
For international submissions selected by the
Festival, the organizing committee will provide round-trip airfare (economy
class) and room and board during the festival to one member of the production
team traveling to Gansu.

The first annual “Jiayuguan International Short Film Festival” will be co-hosted by the State Administration of Radio Film and Television and Gansu Provincial People’s Government; co-underwritten by the Publicity Department of the Gansu Provincial Committee of the CPC, Chinese Television Artists Association, Gansu Provincial Bureau of Radio, Film and Television, Jiayuguan Municipal People’s Government, and Gansu Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles; co-organized by CCTV-10, Chinese Television Documentary Academic Committee, Cartoon Art Committee of Chinese Television Artists Association, and solely sponsored by Beijing Bojing Culture & Media Co., Ltd.
The Festival focuses on films in the documentary, science and education, and animation genres, aiming to create a professional platform for promotion, exchange, trade, and exhibition of films and television projects catering to China and the world.
