International Film Festival of Prayag, is going to start its journey with the support of cine lovers across the world. The festival has been started by the persons having long associations with the industry under the ages of Z&Z MEDIA PVT LTD, a media production house based in Delhi, which is continuously working in this field from past 15 years. Short films have emerged as a universal experimental platform for both professional and amateur film makers alike. With proliferation of high quality digital technology at relatively low prices, every film enthusiast wants to embark on film making and short films are the first stepping stone in that effort. Allahabad ,also known as Prayag ,is a city in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and the administrative headquarters of the Allahabad District. As of 2013, Allahabad is the seventh most-populous city in the state and the thirty-sixth most-populous city in India, with an estimated population of 5.11 million in the city and 1.21 million in its metropolitan region. In 2011, it was ranked the world's 130th fastest-growing city. The city's original name – Prayaga, or "Place of Offerings" – comes from its position at the union of the Ganges, Yamuna and Sarasvati Rivers called “SANGAM”, It is the second-oldest city in India, and plays a central role in Hindu scriptures. Allahabad has hosted cultural and sporting events, including Kumbh Mela and the Indira Marathon. Although the city's economy was built on tourism, most of its income now derives from real estate and financial services. Film Stars like Amitabh Bachan, , Anubhav Sinha, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Shubha Mudgal, Jaddanbai ,Nargis etc also belong to Allahabad we hope it would be a great place to organize a film festival.
