About
Eleanor International Film Festival is a film festival that focuses on films that trigger people to think about modern social issues while they enjoy them as entertainment. In addition to the social issues being paid attention to by media, the festival also welcomes films that raise new social issues that exist in people’s everyday life. In this film competition, we target young film directors and have directors judging from all over the world to decide on the award winners. Those who win an award will be allocated a film-production budget by our company so that they have an opportunity to produce a short/long film. We look forward to receiving entries of various films with extensive expressions.

Award: The first-place award JPY500,000 plus Budget for short/long film production (the contract with our firm is required)
The second-place award JPY300,000 plus Budget for short/long film production (the contract with our firm is required)

Deliverable: A 500-word summary that includes the name of a film, director, length of the film. The film data shall be less than 120 minutes (Please use Wetransfer at https://wetransfer.com. Or provide us with an URL if the film is uploaded to YouTube and Vimeo.)
Application conditions: Films that were complete between January 1, 2017 and November 30, 2019, or have been completed and were released between those dates.
Applicants are required to own a copyright for their own film.
*Applicants may be professionals/amateurs, or independent films/commercial films.
