Dimension 3 2011 reaffirms its ambition to offer a networking platform, by gathering together professionals who offer new tools, products or services and those who are looking for solutions or new practices in the field of images, from creation to visualization. Efforts should be made to avoid trivialization and give creation a prestigious image, be it stereoscopic 3D, mixed reality, haptic technologies, ultra-high resolution, etc.
 Technology should make images smarter, but also continue to be a vector for emotions: creators must hold a prominent position at the center of this issue. In this perspective, Dimension 3 new edition also provides a place for young creators to showcase their talents, offering opportunities and creating vocations. This year’s event is spread out across two venues, one of which is dedicated to the ecosystem of images from filming to visualization, the other to new uses and talents.
