Created in 1996 by an award-winning producer who saw a great need, The Aurora Awards is an international competition designed to recognize excellence in the film and video industries. By focusing on non-national commercials, regional or special interest entertainment and corporate sponsored film and video, the Aurora Awards specifically targets independent films that would not normally have the opportunity to compete on a national level. The Aurora Awards is known for its judging program and judges feedback, industry-qualified judges, quality and beautiful award statues, foil certificates, and excellent customer service.
The competition is held bi-annually and accepts online entries. Entry fees are $75 USD each Professional and $50 USD each Student and include many categories. All countries are serviced. Many filmmakers have utilized this service to gain more business, prove their credibility and seek advancement.
