The Images Festival is devoted to showing independent media artworks (film, video, new media, installations, performances) that fall outside of the mainstream and are produced as creative, artist-led projects.
The festival`s mandate is to exhibit the best experimental, documentary, animated and dramatic shorts we can get our hands on. We look for films that are subversive, provocative, daring and entertaining.
The Cinema of Jazz runs in between two of Canada`s leading jazz festivals and xhibits a fine collection of jazz documentaries, fictions, animations, shorts and experimentals from around the world.
