Five fantastic days of film featuring friends flying in from all over! We are honored to present these up and coming indie filmmakers to our great city - YEE HAW! Today we load our attending filmmakers on a bus and take them to NASA to get a taste of what makes Houston so special. For our audiences, there's still lots to see! Come on out to Cinemark Memorial City to celebrate creative excellence with us in our final offering of #WorldFest55. Full film details below.

Apr 24, 2022 1:00 PM The wedding ceremony of Xie Bing and her boyfriend Ning Zhiyuan is about to be held. Her birth mother returns to China to attend the wedding, but Xie Bing insists on admitting only Song Chunlian, her foster mother, as Mother at her wedding. Her decision makes the future mother-in-law Pan Ruxin and her own father Xie Xiaobo fall into troubles respectively. Accordingly, a lot of things happen. In the end, the sincerity of Xie Bing touches everyone and enables her foster mother Song Chunlian to be the official mother at the wedding as is wished. The birth mother and the little stepmother also put aside their prejudices and give her wedding instructions.

Oliverio sets the urn that contains his father’s ashes on the table next to the poolside chaise lounge. He grabs his phone and types in a word: aneurism. Oliverio’s father died during a family dinner, just after his parents announced that they were getting divorced. His mother already had a new man in her life. Oliverio, a 13-year-old only child, installs himself on the chaise lounge and decides that he will stay right there. From that very spot he continues his life – mourning, observing, learning to forgive, and falling in love.
