The United Film Festivals are proud to announce our first annual Screenwriting Contest. After 8 years of running successful film festivals in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tulsa, Chicago, New York & London we've decided to build in a forum solely for screenwriters.
Over the years we've been able to build an extensive network of filmmakers but we wanted to go one step further and cater to those who often get overlooked in the world of film production - "the screenwriter".
So in our first year we've chosen to focus our "Call For Scripts" on 3 genres (see listed below) and in two separate categories: Short Scripts & Feature Scripts. We believe over time we'll be able to open more doors for screenwriters as we recently have for filmmakers in the way of distribution.

All 6 winners will be receiving some great prizes and will be honored at our Awards Night of the Los Angeles United Film Festival 2011.

Synopsis, Originality, Story Structure, Characterization, Dialogue, Mechanics, and Overall Score.
Coverage will be received 90-120 days after winners are announced.

Winners will be honored on Awards Night of the Los Angeles United Film Festival 2011.
All Six Winners also receive the following from Inktip:
1. Winning script on InkTip's password-protected website in the Executive Index (a $120/year value)
2. Winning script logline in the InkTip Magazine, sent to 4500 industry professionals, and emailed to thousands more (a $40 value/per issue)
3. Winning titles and loglines published in the InkTip weekly Entertainment Industry Newsletter (a service not for sale and not available to the public).
