Twin Rivers Media Festival extended deadline April 29th!

The 17th Annual Twin Rivers Media Festival is still accepting entries in Animation, Short Drama, Experimental, Feature, Documentary, Outdoor, Commercial, Audio and Scriptwriting. Official Selections and past favorites will be shown at the Courtyard Gallery and other Asheville, NC venues on May 27-29, 2011. Scriptwriting Division results will be announced in September of each year.



Special recognition will be given to films, scripts and written articles with outdoor themes, in any category, whether it creates awareness about an environmental plight or gives us a glimpse into the beauty or harshness, or what-have-you, of the natural world. First deadline is coming up so get you entries in the mail by this Friday!Films must be submitted on DVD and have been completed in the last 3 years.



The 2011 final deadlines are:

Extended deadline (arrival): April 29th (+$10)

Late deadline (arrival): May 13 (+$20)



Standard fees are $19 for one or the first entry and $10 for each additional entry.

Student fees are $10 for the first entry and $8 dollars for each additional entry.

Colleges and Universities can enter on behalf of their students at $100 for up to 20 entries, or $10 per entry, whichever is less. Distributor fee is 25 per entry. All foreign entries add $10 dollars to cover bank charges. Make checks payable to Courtyard Gallery.

Entries must be shipped in sturdy reusable containers. All expenses for shipped work, including insurance and return postage are the responsibility of the media artist. If return is desired: Shipped work must include all return shipping cost either by SASE, labeled pre-paid container or international coupon. Send mailed entries to:
