5th Producers Lab Toronto just kicked off

The fifth edition of PRODUCERS LAB TORONTO has just kicked off at the Toronto International Film Festival®. Ten producers each from Europe and Canada and four participants coming from Australia and New Zealand are gathering from 3 to 6 September for this highly-anticipated networking platform to discuss the financial, creative and technical potential of co-production on both sides of the Atlantic and Down Under.



The 24 participants take part in pitching sessions, roundtables, VIP meetings, a case study and other networking events within the framework of the Toronto International Film Festival to exchange ideas and information on funding and co-production opportunities.



The event is organized by European Film Promotion (EFP), in collaboration with the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) and the Toronto International Film Festival® and in partnership withScreen Australia (SA) and the New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC). Financial backing comes from the associated EFP member organizations and additionally from Eurimages, Telefilm Canada, Creative BC andFilm & Creative Industries Nova Scotia.
