Omer Pasha Biography

Omer Pasha born in Pakistan of Turkish descend developed a passion for film making and moved to Canada in his adolescent years. Omer Pasha's debut short film “The Curse” filmed in parts of Pakistan and Canada made its debut on SHAW TV on “Vancouver Masala,” in 2006. Omer Pasha became a
regular performer at the Dufferin Nightclub in Vancouver, BC where he would perform his singles “The Curse” and “Who Are You” for a HIV/AIDS benefit charity “House Of Just Cuz.” Scoring “The Curse” later that year on MTVU, Omer decided to take his music video film to the next level.
May/June 2007 :Omer Pasha produced, directed , edited the film “Come To Me” by 2007 with his co-partner Latif Sheikh (Director/Photography). Omer Pasha compiled 3 editions of “Come To Me” that were at  Festival De Cannes- Short Film Corner 2007 in France.

July 2007 – December 2007 :Omer Pasha made his official market debut in New York City on
July 19, 2007 at Pacha Nightclub & Village East Cinemas at the New York International Independent Film& Video Festival. Omer trained at the Art Institute of Vancouver in Burnaby , BC. On the side Omer compiled “Come To Me (Trilogy)”, “Disco Curse” , “The Ontario Haunting” , “My New York International Independent Film & Video Festival Experience” , “Who Are You-Blue Bottles Suffering” & “Who Are You-Disco Edit.”
February 2008 -March 2008 : Omer Pasha premieres his films “The Curse” , “Come To Me (Trilogy)”, “Disco Curse” , “The Ontario Haunting” , “My New York International Independent Film & Video Festival Experience” , “Who Are You-Blue Bottles Suffering” & “Who Are You-Disco Edit.” in New York City at China Club & Imaginasian Theaters on Feb 28, 2008 at the New York International Independent Film& Video Festival. Omer commences the filming of his show “The Knights Of Manhattan” in New York City.
April 2008 : Omer performs at the Davie Village Cafe for HIV/AIDS benefit charity “House Of Just Cuz” in Vancouver, BC.
May/June 2008 : Omer Pasha's Soviet Montage Edit film “Who Are You-Blue Bottles Of Suffering”goes to  Festival De Cannes- Short Film Corner 2008 in France .This special version also included “The Ontario Haunting ” as the opening film for “Who Are You.”
July /August 2008 : Omer Pasha holds a grand premiere , a showcase of his entire film collection at Cabana Club in Hollywood, Los Angeles on July 17, 2008 at the New York International Independent Film& Video Festival. Omer officially premieres his film “Who Are You-Blue Bottles of Suffering” at Sunset 5 in West Hollywood. Omer compiles and produces his show “The Knights of Manhattan-Hollywood Edition” by August 2008.
