Why Daniel815?

Actually, it's Daniel 8:15, and the film title derive from that passage in the Bible:

Daniel 8:15 (King James Version)

And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

Despite the religious overtones, there is no dogmatic message. We didn’t want to get our spin in and control the audience’s conclusions. We wanted the audience to draw their own conclusion based on their experience.

People end up seeing different endings and that was the intention.
