Tribeca Alumni Premiere At SundanceTuesday, January 20----Three filmmakers, whose young careers have been nurtured by Tribeca All Access (TAA), the Tribeca Film Institute program, will have world premieres of their films at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. The Tribeca All Access program, now in its fourth year, selects thirty directors and screenwriters from an open call for submissions and provides them with one-on-one meetings with industry insiders. The 2007 Tribeca All Access participants will be announced in early March. Alfredo de Villa is premiering his new feature film ADRIFT IN MANHATTAN, a moody drama about three seemingly distant people whose lives intersect in Manhattan. The film stars Heather Graham and Victor Rasuk. The film, in script form, was pitched by De Villa at Tribeca All Access in 2004. The director's debut feature WASHINGTON HEIGHTS debuted at the 2002 Tribeca Film Festival and was screened at various film festivals, including the Los Angeles Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award. MISS NAVAJO, a documentary by 2006 Tribeca All Access participant Billy Luther will also premiere in Park City. The film, which is executive produced by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato (INSIDE DEEP THROAT), examines the determination of one woman's quest for the 2005 Miss Navajo Nation Crown. The 2006 winner of the Tribeca All Access Narrative Creative Promise Award , Sterlin Harjo, will premiere his new feature film FOUR SHEETS TO THE WIND. The sensitively written and directed drama concerns a young man’s coming into his own following the death of his father. “Tribeca All Access has quickly become an important place for the industry to find new projects while enabling important relationships and opportunities for under-represented filmmakers,” Jane Rosental, Institute and Festival co-founder declared. "The premieres of these films at this year’s Sundance Film Festival is a testament to the ongoing success of TAA and the talent of its filmmakers.” For more information on the Tribeca Film Institute and the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival, log on to: Tribeca Film Institute. 20.01.2007 | Sundance's blog Cat. : Alfredo De Villa Billy Luther Entertainment Entertainment Fenton Bailey Film Film festival FOUR SHEETS TO THE WIND G Heather Graham Institute and Festival Jane Rosental Navajo Nation New York New York City Randy Barbato Sundance Film Festival Sundance Sundance Film Festival the 2002 Tribeca Film Festival the 2007 Sundance Film Festival the Audience Award the Los Angeles Film Festival the Tribeca All Access Narrative Creative Promise Award TriBeCa Tribeca All Access Tribeca Film Festival Tribeca Film Festival Tribeca Film Institute Tribeca Film Institute Victor Rasuk Washington Markets FESTIVALS
