BREAKING FREE is a feature-length documentary by award winning filmmaker and rights activist Sridhar Rangayan, that strings together anguished voices of those who were tortured, blackmailed and indicted by the draconian law Section 377 that criminalized homosexuality till recently. It also includes interviews with advocates, activists and opinion builders who have fought a decade-long battle to have this law read down. 

It is a film about the law, about us, our struggle to break free.
