MAMI 22, 02: Entries invitedMAMI 22, 02: Entries invited Mumbai Academy of Moving Image is holding its 22nd Mumbai Film Festival during March 11-15, 2022. Entries are now open. You can submit your film in the following sections: India Gold / Spotlight Completed after 1st December 2020 Made by directors who are either an Indian citizen/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/Person of Indian Origin (PIO) At least one of the producers is an Indian citizen At least 50 minutes in length Not screened publicly in India before the festival dates
City Shorts Mumbai Completed after 1st December 2020 Made by residents of Mumbai who are between the ages of 18 and 25 (both inclusive) A maximum of 5 minutes in length Not screened publicly in India before the festival dates
The following prizes are awarded to the feature-length films screening at the festival. Golden Gateway Award: Films screening in the India Gold section are eligible for this award. It includes a trophy plus a cash prize of INR 15,00,000. The cash prize is to be equally shared by the director(s) & producer(s). Silver Gateway Award: Films screening in the India Gold section are eligible for this award. It includes a trophy plus a cash prize of INR 8,00,000. The cash prize is to be equally shared by the director(s) & producer(s). Best Female Film-maker: Films screening in the India Gold and Spotlight India sections are eligible for this award. It includes a trophy plus a cash prize of INR 5,00,000. Audience Choice Award: Films screening in the World Cinema section are eligible for this award. This includes a trophy plus a cash prize of INR 10,00,000. The following prizes are awarded to the short-length films screening at the festival. Golden Gateway Award: Films screening in the City Shorts Mumbai section are eligible for this award. It includes a trophy plus a cash prize of INR 1,00,000. The cash prize is to be equally shared by the director(s). Silver Gateway Award: Films screening in the City Shorts Mumbai section are eligible for this award. It includes a trophy plus a cash prize of INR 50,000. The cash prize is to be equally shared by the director(s). To be eligible for any awards at the festival, the film must be an India Premiere. All the cash prizes are subject to Indian tax laws and global exchange rates.
How to Submit: Read the Rules & Regulations to review the eligibility of your film. Log in with your email id or register on the website, if you are a new user. Complete the online submission form for the section you want to apply to. Submit a password-protected, streaming screener of the film as part of the form submission. Pay the applicable submissions fee. Entries are open until 5th December 2021. Please refer to the FAQs and the updated rules and regulations. He often edits film festival daily bulletins.He is also an actor and a dubbing artiste.
