National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) on its home page has listed the following Proposal as the No. 1 item under News. It invites proposals for sponsorship of TV coverage of the 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa, November 2017.

Event Details:             

• Ground Event: IFFI at Panjim Goa from 20thto 28th November 2017.         

• TV Episodes starting from 16th November to 28th November           

• Telecast Dates: TV episodes from 16th to 28th November 2017 and Opening Ceremony and  Closing Ceremony on live DD National on 20th and 28th November 2017        

• Telecast Time: Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony 1 hour 30 minutes Duration  and One hour thirty minutes of recorded programme daily on DD National Deliverables to the Associate Sponsor- On Ground Branding and Television Air Time FCT Entitlement: 3000 seconds on DD National (based on availability)

Syed Siraj
(Siraj Associates)

Siraj Syed is a film-critic since 1970 and a Former President of the Freelance Film Journalists' Combine of India.

He is the India Correspondent of FilmFestivals.com and a member of FIPRESCI, the international Federation of Film Critics, Munich, Germany

Siraj Syed has contributed over 1,015 articles on cinema, international film festivals, conventions, exhibitions, etc., most recently, at IFFI (Goa), MIFF (Mumbai), MFF/MAMI (Mumbai) and CommunicAsia (Singapore). He often edits film festival daily bulletins.

He is also an actor and a dubbing artiste. Further, he has been teaching media, acting and dubbing at over 30 institutes in India and Singapore, since 1984.
