Call for Entries 2011

We are pleased to announce our 2011 Call for Entries. Once again, we are searching the world for exciting and ground-breaking short stereoscopic films. Live-action, animation, documentary, experimental--we are excited to screen a wide variety of content. Our goal is to celebrate and explore the trailblazers of the new 3D cinema.

We accept selection committee screeners in a wide variety of digital formats, providing that they are stereo3D. This can be side-by-side, interlaced, individual streams, etc--if you're unsure, please contact us. Selected films will need to be provided in a hi-res individual left/right format that we will convert to DCP for exhibition.

Entries must be under 15 minutes in duration.

Films in a language other than English must be subtitled, unless dialogue or commentary is unnecessary for comprehension and appreciation.

The deadline for entries is May 15th, 2011.
Submitting a film to the festival is free!

Please fill out our submission form and send with film to:

About shortandsweet3d

Crute Jordan
Short & Sweet (the regular, 2D kind) has been London's only weekly short film festival for four years running. Every Monday night, we screen a selection of the finest short films, music videos and short animations from around the globe: old films, new films, from established directors to filmmakers that are completely undiscovered. The idea is to inspire all who attend, expose the best talent and ultimately celebrate film. With over 250 people coming each week, this is a great place to network.

Short & Sweet 3D is an exciting new step for us celebrating independent, maverick, cutting-edge filmmaking in the growing stereoscopic medium. We are excited to screen a wide variety of content including fiction, documentary, music videos, live action and animation, so send it all in!
