San Diego International Kids' Film Festival 2024 Open For Entries
The 2024 San Diego International Kid’s Film Festival is now welcoming submissions. SDIKFF focuses on entertaining and educational filmmaking the whole family can enjoy together. Each year, we screen films made across the globe. Accepted submissions are judged by a jury of experienced industry professionals. Films can be submitted in many categories, including short film, feature length, animation, and documentary. Filmmakers of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
We are also holding special competitions for screenplays and music. Selected screenplays may be performed live at the Screenplay Showcase. Original music created for film may be submitted for the music contest. Finalists may be invited to perform at the festival.
Festival activities include panels run by experts in the industry, filmmaker Q&As, and the opportunity to walk the red carpet. Participants get to promote their talent to industry personnel at the film market and network with other filmmakers at the gala. Attendees will also be featured in a documentary film made about the festival.
The final submission deadline is July 31, 2024. Entries can be submitted prior to June 30 at a reduced fee. Films can be submitted at https://filmfreeway.com/SDIKFF. Welcome to Hollywood! For more information, visit our website www.sdkidsfilms.org.
