‘DESDE ALLA’ from Venice to San Sebastian
The Venezia 72 Jury, chaired by Alfonso Cuarón, named the Golden Lion for Best Film to: DESDE ALLÁ (FROM AFAR) by Lorenzo Vigas (Venezuela, Mexico). This film took part at the Film in Progress selection in San Sebastian and now finished and awarded returns to Horizontes Latinos at the 63rd San Sebastian Film Festival beginning on Friday 18th. Other films participating in San Sebastian straight from Venize: Silver Lion for Best Director, Pablo Trapero for the film EL CLAN (Argentina, Spain) in Pearl with ANOMALISA by Charlie Kaufman & Duke Johnson.
