This is going to be my first blog entry.

After 12 years of programming for the international film festival in Kolkata (Calcutta), I wondered at times why I never try to write on virtual pages.

As an Indian, besides films and film festivals, I also had and perhaps still have a strong love for games like Footbal and Cricket.

Like in Cricket, the first over of the debutant bowler is always the most precious and cautious time of his professional life.

When I thought of entering the blog-space, I was tinkled inside with the same kind of feeling.

My entries in the coming days may not be limited to films and festivals only.
