I am now living in the heart of the film industry and have been involved in the film and theates industry for almost 50 years.I started out in New York...

Barry Munday is a very funny film

After viewing this film I had the opportunity to meet the director Chris D’Arienzo and the actors Patrick Wilson and Judy Greer. That meeting changed my whole perspective because the actors were so different from their characters portrayed in the film. You had to be there to experience it, but take my word for it. What really put everyone in the mood to be candid was the story shared by one of the journalists about knowing 3 men who shared the same unfortunate loss as Barry Munday does in the film.Patrick Wilson, without his facial hair, looks like a young Kevin Costner and we joked about it and said that he could be his father whom we never meet in this film but might in the sequel to Barry MundayThis is his first comedy and how his character evolved, works because of his versatile talent, Patrick has been nominated for a Tony award for his performance as Curly in the musical Oklahoma. So you get my driftIn the beginning Barry Munday is not the most likeable character but he reminds me a pool soul looking for love but going about it in the most awful way.So when loses his family jewels his life takes an awkward twist, you might say.  With those prized possessions gone, his life as it was before is very different. Then out of nowhere, he receives notice that he is going to be a dad from a sexual encounter, which he cannot remember, with Judy Greer. Their recollection of what happened is a dilemma. Anyway they are the perfect foils whose lives will now change dramatically as they approach parenthood. The supporting cast of household names like , Chloe Sevigny,  Malcolm McDowell, Jean Smart, ,Cybil Shepherd and my man Billy Dee Williams are having as much fun as you will watching this film. There is some much to laugh about and share but I want you to see this movie and chuckle all the way.
