The screening of The Old Man & The Gun to be preceded by a video-tribute featuring the most exciting moments and most significant scenes in his career

The screening of The Old Man & The Gun by David Lowery, Robert Redford's farewell to his career as an actor, scheduled for Saturday 20 October at 10:00 pm (Sala Sinopoli) at Rome Film Fest, will be preceded by a special video-tribute dedicated to the great actor and director. "Rome Film Fest pays tribute to Robert Redford, an icon of cinema and a magnificent filmmaker – said Antonio Monda, artistic director of Rome Film Fest – We are honoured to present a film such as The Old Man & The Gun that confirms his incomparable class, and for the occasion, we have edited a tribute in which we celebrate his remarkable career". The video will show audiences some of the most exciting moments and most significant scenes in the artistic career of Robert Redford, winner of an Academy award in 1981 for the film Ordinary People, and later, in 2002, of the Oscar® for Lifetime Achievement.
