“MORE SPACE TO INDIPENDENT CINEMA”

The opening evening of the Festival on Thursday 17, will be inaugurated at the Lanificio 159 with the screening of Fados (out of competition) directed by famous Spanish director Carlos Saura: the documentary will be introduced by the well-known fado singer Cuca Roseta, accompanied by two Portuguese musicians.  The New Vision Awards, tributed to all independent and original works, will be assigned to director Alessandro Valori for his second work Chi nasce tondo, written and interpreted by Valerio Mastandrea. Both films will officially open the festival programme on Friday 18 at 8 pm at Cinema Nuovo Olimpia.
