ALBERT AND HIS WAYDocumentary film Albert's Way directed by Serbian filmmaker Predrag Bambic will be screened at ASC - American Society of Cinematographers, www.theasc.com located in Hollywood at North Orange Drive, between Hollywood Boulevard and Franklin Avenue according to Frederic Goodich, a secretary of ASC and director for the international collaboration. American Society of Cinematographers is a non-profit association dedicated to the art of filmmaking. Ever since 1919, the ASC has been committed to educating aspiring filmmakers, to the art and craft of cinematography; it accomplishes this by publishing the internationally renowned magazine American Cinematographer and the venerable American Cinematographer Manual, through seminars at schools and industry events, and via one-on-one mentoring. ASC members volunteer their time for such activities. Ancestors of Albert Mayer, the designer of the Hollywood Pansvision camera and the winner of a couple of Oscars, were from Germany, but settled in Banat, the territory of Serbia.
