Plus Camerimage

The International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography PLUS CAMERIMAGE is the greatest and most recognized festival dedicated to the art of cinematography and its creators - cinematographers. PLUS CAMERIMAGE contributes to the growth of cinematographers' prestige. The unconventional format of the Festival, which awards films according to their visual, aesthetic and technical values, has turned out to be an alternative for traditional film festivals. As all our guests emphasize - PLUS CAMERIMAGE is unique. The Festival proves to be a great forum not only for presentation but also for further development of international moviemaking. PLUS CAMERIMAGE helps young filmmakers and integrates the community of those already recognized, allowing them to explore new artistic areas.

We are pleased to announce that this year's Special Plus Camerimage Award to Editor With Unique Visual Sensitivity will go to Chris Lebenzon.

Chris Lebenzon

Chris Lebenzon is a film editor with an impressive filmography in
a diverse range of genres, from action/adventure and drama to film
musicals and animation.

including so stylistically and visually different movies like Batman Returns, Ed Wood, Planet of the Apes, Corps bride, and Alice in Wonderland.
Chris has also been working for years with director Tony Scott. They
have just completed the soon to be released action thriller Unstoppable.

Chris has teamed up many times with award-winning producer Jerry Bruckheimer, working with him on such films as Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor and Armageddon, Dominic Sena's Gone in Sixty Seconds, and Simon West's Con Air. and Tony Scott's Days of thunder or Enemy of the State.

Chris Lebenzon collecting Eddie Award

Chris Lebenzon is now one of the most important film editors. His work
directly influences the artistic imagination of the audience around the
world and serves as an example of how an original film narrative can be
conducted.

festival audience. Chris will also make a special presentation of his
work on Alice in Wonderland (from storyboards, through editing the dailies, to final cut of the film).
