VIRTUAL PITCHFEST MADE A MOVIE!!!   Virtual Pitchfest SPONSORS the Philadelphia Screenplay Fest - Your Online Contest.  Offering awards to our top 5 winners!  Visit www.ScreenplayFest.com for more information.  Visit www.VirtualPitchfest.com to apply for Online, guaranteed response pitches to BIG TIME HOLLYWOOD PLAYERS!

"Raspberry Magic" was recently financed and produced via www.VirtualPitchFest.com. This is big news!
VPF enables screenwriters to pitch to Hollywood Pros online via query letters with the assurance of aguaranteed response back.  Around 300 companies participate in VPF, including biggies like MGM, Kopelson Entertainment, CBS Films, The Gersh Agency, 20th Century Fox, New Line Cinema, UTA, Spyglass Entertainment, Davis Entertainment, The Donners' Company, Laura Ziskin Productions, and New Regency. While many VPF submission requests have resulted in representation or script deals, "Raspberry Magic" is the first film that has been produced via the connections the site provides.

"Raspberry Magic" is now doing well in the festival circuit. It was made after writer/director Leena Pendharker pitched the script to manager Heidi Ifft via VPF. Heidi said "yes" to the pitch, really liked the script, and sent it to her actress client Meera Simham ("House," etc.) Meera fell in love with the script, and soon afterwards she and husband Ravi Kapur ("Crossing Jordan") became attached to the project. Six months later, the financing came together! You can learn more about the film by clicking on www.raspberrymagic.com

OTHER DETAILS OF INTEREST

DKZ Productions runs VPF. Besides running VPF, we also produce movies and do quite a bit of script consulting via www.ScriptCoach.com.  Our TV/film credits include Hallmark's "All I Want for Christmas," Lifetime's "Caught in the Act," and our latest feature "Strictly Sexual," which has become the #1 most watched movie of all time on www.hulu.com.  Both CNN and NPR have recently done stories about "Strictly Sexual." This spring, if things go as planned, we will be producing the indie film, "The Fourth Noble Truth."

In 3-6 months Virtual Pitchfest will be launching VPFbooks, which will do for the book world what VPF is now doing for the film world.
