JUST ANNOUNCED: 2016 NYTVF Scripts Competition Accepting Original Sitcom Scripts

Are you an aspiring TV writer? Want to get your work in front of agents, managers, and development execs across the TV and digital landscape? Submit to NYTVF Scripts for a chance to have your project named an Official Selection of the 2016 New York Television Festival, become eligible for awards and development deals from NYTVF partners,  and engage with the largest collection of television decision-makers anywhere on the Festival circuit.

In its inaugural year, NYTVF Scripts is accepting original, half-hour comedy series pilot scripts from around the world for consideration by broadcast, cable, and digital buyers via NYTVF Connect. Last year, over 75 companies participated in NYTVF Connect, yielding 400+ facilitated meetings between creators and industry partners, participants, and jury members.

With over 115,000 attendees over the festival’s first 11 years, the NYTVF has become the premier destination for indie creators and 2016 Official Artists will join a community of hundreds of successful NYTVF alumni. Don't miss your chance to get into network and digital development and participate as an Official Artist at the 12th Annual Festival in October.

To Submit:

NYTVF Scripts submissions should be between 20 and 40 pages in length. In addition, writers should submit a series overview (up to 4 pages) and a writer’s C.V. to be eligible. There is a $50 fee per entry.

Submission period begins June 1, 2016 at 12:00pm (noon) EST. Click HERE for submission page.

Awards:
