The Global Film Village: 63rd Cannes Film Festival Announces Film Line Up

The Opening night film already announced  is Ridley Scot's ROBIN HOOD. 20th Century Fox will have an Out of Competition screening of Oliver Stone's WALL STREET - MONEY NEVER SLEEPS. Additional Out of Competition screenings are YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER from Woody Allen (Sony Classics) and TAMARA DREWE from Stephen Frears.

This years line up is a virtual Boy's Club with not  a single female director represented so far in the main competition. Although there are still probably 5-7 more films to be announced over all.

The Competition will feature 16 films from 13 countries.  A total of 46 features have already been chosen to screen at the festival. Notable films that the festival is still waiting for completion dates include Terrence Malick's "Tree of Life" starring former jury president Sean Penn.
