Hard Job But Somebody Has To Do It (SH:2.0 status report)
Just wanted to let our friends know how the Splitting Hairs 2.0: Case Cold production is coming along. Up to this point we have 40 minutes of the film completed and about another 20 minutes to go. We're acutally creating the ending of the movie as we go, which is quite intersting and somewhat difficult. SP 2.0 is Malcolm Entertainment's first feature film and it is being made at a price to Bob and myself. Not in terms of money but stress. Scheduling a shooting schedule that brings the actors together is the biggest task we've had to deal with but we're making headway and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. The next factor has been the weather--which hasn't been great on the weekends, which is when we shoot primarily. The content of the movie I feel has captured the feel of a film noir from the 1940's in an urban setting. There are plot twists and clue discoveries that will keep the audience focused on the film and tender moments that give the film the proper balance. A lot of new faces that add depth and intrigue to the piece. From our opinion, it's bangin'. Will be posting another blog when we have something significant to report.
