Turkish - German Migration Impacts on Cinema / Martina Priessner Video PresentationSince the beginning of the seventies, the labour migration from Turkey to Germany reflected the art of cinema for both countries. ‘A foreigner in Germany’ was the stereotype genre in films until the nineties.  Since the nineties, the young filmmakers based in Germany, started to tell the stories from a different perspective and with a very powerful way. Director and Curator, Tuncay and Martina Kulaoğlu Priessner’s video presentations will be focusing the different dimensions of these changes. Abandoned country, to be on the roads, and being outsider, returning to a country topics will be examined within a historical concept.  -END- For further information please contact; Ms. Müge Çetinkaya; mugecetinkaya@mediaandevent.com T: +90 (0) 212 256 49 91
