ITVFestITVFest is a non-profit organization with the mission of encouraging change in conventional television and the growth of artistic expression in television and new media. Simultaneously, ITVFest provides local, national and international artistic communities with a public forum for independently produced television pilots. ITVFest receives pilot submissions from around the world in comedy, drama, alternative (reality, game show, talk show, etc) documentary, web series and out-of-competition categories. By screening the official selections to a live audience, which includes ITVFest's executive, advisory board and extensive network contacts, ITVFest provides a bridge to the inner workings of the television industry. The 2009 ITVFest – it is your chance to share your creativity and talent. The ITVFest will accept submissions for the following categories: * Comedy * Drama * Alternative (reality, game show, etc.) * Documentary * Web Series * Non-competitive pilots (commissioned, but unpurchased/unaired) Early Submission Deadline: April 23, 2009 Regular Submission Deadline: May 14, 2009 WAB Extended Submission Deadline: May 17, 2009 The world of successful independent production is not merely limited to the silver screen. Pilotmakers showcased at ITVFest have gone on to get script deals with NBC, development deals with Starz!, web deals with Ziddio.com, and representation from top reps such as UTA and 3 Arts. Winners of the 2008 ITVFest also walked home with $5,000 in production support each!
