The Ischia 2009 Film Location Festival isnow accepting entries for its sixth annual event, June 22-28, on the beautifulisland of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples.

The Festival recognizes the contributionsof international filmmakers-producers, directors, cinematographers,designers-of full-length feature films, shorts, and documentaries, specificallyfor their artistic use of locations, allowing audiences to gain profoundinsight into the beauty and richness of landscapes and local cultures, not onlyin Italy but worldwide.

As part of its overall mission, theFestival also underscores the importance of increasing public awareness ofenvironmentally-sustainable tourism and the need to safeguard artistic andcultural patrimonies.

The deadline for entry submission is 15April 2009.  Regulations and entry forms are aviable on www.ischiafilmfestival.it
