ISCHIA GLOBAL ACTING MASTER-CLASS: MOVIE EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR – FOURTH EDITION ISCHIA, July 8 -15, 2012
"Being An Artist: turn your passion into a profession"
L'iniziativa è rivolta a giovani artisti provenienti da ogni parte del mondo che saranno selezionati da Bernie Hiller, coach personale di tanti divi di Hollywood, in occasione del X Global Film & Music Festival (8-15 luglio 2012).
L'attività didattica sarà, invece, gestita dalla professoressa Maria D'Ambrosio dell'Università Suor Orsola Benincasa di Napoli. Sono previsti incontri tra i registi, gli attori e gli sceneggiatori ospiti del Festival con giovani aspiranti e allievi di scuole, accademie o università.
La Master-Class sarà articolata in sessioni mattutine cui si aggiunge la partecipazione ad incontri, conferenze e proiezioni come da programma del festival.

The activity is aimed at young artists from all over the world who will be selected by Bernie Hiller, personal coach to many Hollywood stars, on the occasion of the 10th Global Film & Music Festival (8-15 July 2012).
The educational activities will, however, managed by Professor Maria D'Ambrosio of University Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples. Ischia Global Film & Music Fest organizes workshops for young students or would-be directors, actors, screenwriters and producers held by the guests of the Festival.
The masterclass will consist of morning classes to be complemented with the attendance at the meetings, conferences and screenings featured in the Festival's program.

THE BERNARD HILLER ACTING STUDIOS
Bernard Hiller è nello show-business da oltre 30 anni. Ha studiato con alcuni dei più grandi insegnanti di recitazione di New York e Los Angeles fra cui Sanford Meisner and Lee Strasberg (Actors Studio, "The Method"). Mr Hiller lavora con gli attori sui set cinematografici e conduce le sue classi internazionali di recitazione a Londra, Parigi, Atene, Berlino, Roma e Barcellona. E' stato invitato ad insegnare la sua tecnica nel famoso "Moscow Art Theatre" e a Tel Aviv dove ha tenuto una classe speciale al "Shimon Peres Peace Center" con attori palestinesi e israeliani. E' stato ospite a numerosi film festival in tutto il mondo.
Ha anche preparato importanti uomini d'affari della C.E.O.S nell' arte della vendita e del parlare in discorso pubblico.
E' stato nominato "Acting Coach" dalla NBC television per la serie "The Starlet" con Faye Dunaway ed è stato anche visto come l' "Acting Mentor" nella televisione britannica con "California Dreaming" per Channel 4. Bernard ha iniziato la sua carriera recitando in musical di Broadway e anche come attore con molte apparizioni televisive e cinematografiche. Ha lavorato con George Clooney, Julie Andrews, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helen Mirren, Kate Hudson e ha allenato sul set Vanessa Hudgens, Jennifer Garner, Billy Crystal, Melissa Gilbert, Jeff Goldblum, e Richard Dreyfuss.
La Tecnica
La tecnica di recitazione di Bernard Hiller, famosa in tutto il mondo, è basata sulla combinazione del "Metodo" (Lee Strasberg), Stella Adler e Sandy Meisner. Il suo approccio unico aiuta gli studenti aspiranti attori a:

Bernard has been a working actor for the past 28 years and has had 4 successful reality TV shows: In the U.S, "The Starlet" with Faye Dunaway, in the United Kingdom "California Dreaming" on Channel 4. In Germany "Mission Hollywood" for RTL with Til Schweiger and "Living in LALA Land" in Israel.
